Made in America the STK100 Spring Tester provides a low cost manually operated tester for tension and compression springs. Precision machining ensures smooth movement and pre- cise alignment of the rack and pinion elevating mechanism.
The STK100 is available with quick acting lever or a close control handwheel for testing spring forces to 100 lbf. Force display is provided by the Wagner FDIX Digital Force Gage with six ca- pacities from 2 through 100 lbf. Interchangeable Plug' N Play Force Cell Modules are available to change the force gage capacity of the STK100 at minimum cost.
Spring deflection is measured with a 1" dial travel indicator or the optional 1" digital travel indicator. Other travel indicators with a wide variety of features can be mounted.
A large 6" x 10" test area is provided with a pat- tern of mounting holes in the test area. Vertical travel is 12" with a generous 3" horizontal clearance. An adjustable collar is included to provide a stop point for the load beam.

CONSTRUCTION
- Large 10" x 10" aluminum platform; 6" x 10" test area.
- Grid of 9 #10-32 mounting holes are provided on the platform.
- Steel guide posts with teflon coated bushings.
- Steel rack and pinion elevating mechanism.
- Maximum vertical clearance is approximately 12".
- Maximum vertical gage travel is approximately 12".
- Maximum horizontal clearance from guide posts is 3".
OPERATION
- Tension or compression with handwheel or lever.
- Compression testing with 2" diameter plate
- Tension testing with hooks provided with test stand and force gage.
- Handwheel or lever provide 1" travel for each 360° rotation.
ACCESSORIES
- Included: 5/8" and 2" diameter plates, 2hooks and stop point collar.
